This book was a good start to a new series which also included some favorite characters from some other books. The story was really intense (in a good way) from the beginning. It really kept my interest from the first page. The main characters Shane and Yael were both really likeqble.

This review is of Cold Silence by Toni Anderson. I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Let me start by saying that Toni Anderson is one of my all time favorite authors and she hasn’t disappointed me with Cold Silence! The characters are well developed and some are old friends from previous books. The author does an excellent job of hiding Yael‘s past and what Yael thinks is her terrible secret. She has spent her life hiding. As a computer expert, she is the perfect one to go after the monster killing people online because she knows where the hiding places are. And she doesn’t trust anyone. Shane is out for blood. That monster killed his best friend and Shane is going to set things right. Add these two intense people to the hunt that covers the US and you end up with a breathless story that keeps you on the edge of your seat! And Toni’s description of a snow storm shows she has lived through more than one of those! I got cold just reading it. If you are looking for a fast paced story with strong characters and amazing descriptions, then Cold Silence is for you! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did and then go read more of Toni Anderson’s books!

A killer like no other. .Hostage Rescue Team is needed to extract a young woman Shane when injured now needing Yael for the skills to help with this op. Trust is needed to work together, and it is hard for Yael to give. Yael is injured and now realized she was no longer alone. A tense filled plot of a rescue, a mission, and team work together, to the last page. Readers will enjoy this new series. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

WOW! A top of the line whodunnit, with a side of romance and steam. The evil bad guy, is truly a piece of work. This book kept me engaged from beginning to the “edge of my seat” end. If you are a suspense romance reader, grab this newest book, it has it all. A definite addition to your TBR list.

Nail biting suspense draws you into this story, but Yael and Shane doing the fighting attraction dance is just as enthralling. Shane holds her close as an asset, suspicious because he senses she is hiding something. Yael keeps everyone at a distance, even her best friend doesn’t know her secrets. The deep dive into their pasts breaks your heart. The investigation felt real, the task force following clues online and physical, the right puzzle piece just out of reach. Until the gripping finale. Don’t miss this thrilling tale.

I absolutely loved Yael and Shane! My heart just broke for poor Yael. Life has not been easy or fair to her. Shane is as alpha as they come. He’s just lost his best friend and he wants this serial killer caught. This book is loaded with action, suspense, angst and steamy times. I couldn’t read the book fast enough.
