This book had me hooked from the get go. Love love loved the first two thirds of it, the tension of Sloan and “Carter’s” relationship and situation was addictive and I couldn’t get enough. The last third of the book didn’t do as much for me as the rest of it did, and I can’t say I’m completely happy with the ending. An unnecessary and overused twist was involved, but what I needed to have happen, did. Overall, a great read, and my love for Sloan and Luke made the book worth it!

I’ve never been much of a reader but when I read the first chapter of this book I was amazed. I couldn’t put it down.

I honestly really love the story I think it was very well written, and the twist and turns made it very easy to continue reading. Although I do think that it is a little generic I feel like maybe I could’ve heard a similar story before, but although Colleen Hoover is a great author and her work has not let me down thus far so I do plan on reading more of her work, and this is a book. I definitely recommend other people.

It takes a while to get into the plot but it’s so worth it. Took me a while to finish due to the intensity of the book but, WOW. This book was another excellent must read by Miss Colleen!

I did not like this book. I felt it dragged on and I didn’t feel any connection with the characters. I normally love Colleen Hoover books, but this one didn’t do it for me.

I read this book in the matter of 5 days, I’ve never read something so fast before! Amazing book! The writing style flows amazing, the spice is just right, the whole story line keeps you hooked. So many twists and turns!

It was a really nice book definitely lots of twists I really wanted to empathize with asas character but I just couldn’t get myself to forgive everything he was doing just due to the fact that he had a horrific childhood But overall wonderful read and if you’re looking for something that’s intense with a little bit of crime this is it
